The 8102: Prologue Launch postponed
Initially we aimed to launch The 8102: Prologue at the end of November, but we had to push the launch date back a bit in order to spend more time on refining and optimizing the game.
We also want to ramp up story-telling leading up to the launch.
But there's not only bad news: we're planning to give The 8102: Yacht holders early-access to the game.
It will most likely be a more compact version of The Prologue, but we'll update you on this closer to the launch!
The 8102: Yacht mint will be closed
We have thought about this step for a long time and after asking for input from our community, we’ve decided to close the mint of The 8102: Yachts.
This can be considered temporary and also has a technical reason: the reveal process is not automated, which means that at mint time the meta data is not available - which would cause problems when e.g. building a squad in The Prologue since the yachts combat power is unknown.
Therefore we want to close the mint before we launch something new. Regatta #4 will be our test-run. You will only be able to mint until the registration closes on December 10, 2022 at 11 AM EST / 5 PM CET.
At the time of writing 1,184 yachts are available to mint, priced at 0.025 ETH.

The NFT space is never standing still, so here’s a recap of recent hot topics.
Not directly related to NFTs, but OpenAI recently launched a trained language model for dialogue called ChatGPT. Is this a glimpse into the future of (text) content creation? We don’t know, but it's definitely worth giving it a try, as you might be amazed by what it can do! (Link)
Yuga Labs announced The Fucking Metaverse Podcast - a podcast about all-things-web3 hosted by the Yuga Labs co-founders Wylie Aronow, Greg Solano, and Kerem Atalay. Check out the trailer! (Link)
And another announcement by Yuga Labs - after the long silence, they announced that The Trial of Jimmy The Monkey, which is the next item on Yuga’s roadmap, will begin this Christmas. We don’t have a clue what it is, and there’s a lot of speculation around it, but we’re definitely looking forward to it! (Link)

Jenkins The Valet introduced an audio experience set in different NFT communities. Over 100 communities are supported and can create character profiles which can later be licensed! (Link)
