Mint Yachts to Enter NFT Raffle, Missions & More...

Ahoy friends,

we have exciting news for this festive month!

But let’s start with a big THANK YOU to the ApeCoin Metaverse Working group for sponsoring the prize pool of 3,500 $APE in our special ApeKin mission in October.

We have airdropped 35 ApeCoin on ApeChain to the wallets of each of the 100 winners picked via Fairy Raffles. You can check with this link if your wallet is among them. If you haven’t used ApeChain yet you have to add it to your wallet to be able to use the ApeCoin. To add it you can go to apescan.io, scroll to the bottom and click on “Add Ape Mainnet Network”. You can also see the transfer if you switch to “Internal Transactions” when viewing your wallet on ApeScan.

Now to our plans for December and beyond:

We see the excitement for ApeChain NFTs and want to give yacht minters this month the opportunity to win a PFP from OG collections such as Geez, Jimmy, DSNR, and Rillaz. One minted yacht = one entry for the raffle. For details on the prizes make sure to follow our X account as we might add more in the next weeks 👀

In addition, 2 missions will take place in December. While they won’t be part of the main lore (not the start of the next chapter) they will surely be fun and give you the opportunity to collect more allocation points ahead of our in-game currency drop. We have also integrated Polygon and Base NFTs as part of our newest multi-chain feature. This means you’ll be able to experience a cross-chain mission for the first time in The 8102.

The second mission will stay open for 2 weeks, but rest assured that we’ll announce the start of each mission so you won’t miss out.

In early January we will finally reveal the Loot Chest contents and airdrop you the in-game currency you have earned in the missions. The in-game currency will not be an on-chain token, but an off-chain representation of it. In all missions after the drop, you'll earn in-game currency directly and you'll also be able to claim the earnings your yachts collect via auto-chartering.

Last but not least we are hosting a race for our partner community 3D FrankenPunks. If you own a 3D FrankenPunk (not staked) you can enter until Dec 12, 10 AM EST. You don’t need a yacht to participate in this race, but a 3D FrankenPunk.
